Celebrate Children's Week with NORTH Children’s Choir.
NORTH Children’s Choir presents a unique performance at St Mary’s Basilica that weaves together songs, stories and animation.
The young choristers and their families represent a wide range of cultural backgrounds, including Liberian, Karen, Sudanese, Maori, Indian and Australian. Songs will be sung in many languages, reflecting the diversity within the Geelong Community.
Short films showing individual choristers telling family stories in their homes will be woven into the concert along with animations created from the children's artworks.
This family-friendly performance celebrates the return of singing in the community, celebrating music as a joyful means of connection and wellbeing.
